Cabarrus County General Services consists of the following divisions: Administration (oversees all divisions of the General Services Department), Building Maintenance, Facility Services, Fleet Maintenance (maintains 300 pieces of equipment) and Grounds Maintenance. This department is responsible for planning, directing and providing maintenance and repairs to county owned facilities, grounds and vehicles. There are 64 county owned structures and 11 leased structures, totaling over 860,233 square feet and housing approximately 900 county, state, federal and other employees.
