Reference Department – A multi-faceted information center available in person, by phone, or via email. Trained information specialists with high-speed, state-of-the-art reference materials and databases provide research expertise.

Children’s Department – A library within a library. Creative reading programs – like story times and fun-filled learning adventures – are carefully designed to capture the imagination, enhance appreciation and enrich the learning experiences of children of all ages.

History and Genealogy Department – A wealth of historical information. Cabarrus County’s rich history has been carefully researched and preserved through an extensive collection of local records including photographs, census information, marriage bonds, death certificates and old newspapers. Additionally, Heritage Quest – a leading genealogy source – provides database links for complete ancestral research.

Interlibrary Loans – A powerful nationwide search program traces and locates hard–to–find books at other library locations and loans them to patrons.
