The Department of Social Services strives to improve the quality of life in the community for all of our citizens. The staff is committed to managing the resources entrusted to them with responsible stewardship and to providing the highest quality professional services possible.

At the Cabarrus County Department of Social Services, we take great pride in doing a good job for all the people of the community. The programs of the Department touch the lives of many of our citizens and they represent an enormous public trust. We feel it is important that our citizens, both taxpayers and people who need assistance, know about and understand what we do at the Department. It is for this reason that members of the staff have compiled an annual report since 1986. I want to thank them for making this possible.
